Recently, the EC6, a model under the NIO brand, has received an OTA update with version number Cedar S 1.6.0. A major new feature is the EP Mode, a track mode that allows the vehicle to automatically control torque distribution, power response calibration, energy recovery strength, brake system calibration, stability control intervention characteristics, steering feel, and thermal management calibration. It also features exclusive simulated engine sounds and themed cabin atmosphere, enabling track recording and data logging. The same track mode is already available on models such as the ET5 and ET5T. We recommend that all EC6 owners upgrade to experience these features. The EC6 is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV, with a price range of 358,000 to 373,000 RMB. It is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with the front motor rated at 150 kW and the rear motor at 210 kW. The 100kWh battery pack provides a range of 635 to 655 km under CLTC standards, with support for 180kW DC fast charging, a 10% to 80% charge time of 0.6 hours, and 3.3kW external power supply capability.
