In any state, the outer door handle of the vehicle should leave a hand operation space of not less than 60mm wide x 25mm high x 20mm deep. This dimension is ergonomically validated to ensure that firefighters or rescuers still have sufficient force and access to the space to carry out the rescue while wearing insulating/insulating gloves.
