The Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau has issued a notice extending the deadline for applications under Beijing's 2026 car trade-in subsidy programme. In line with the city's car-buying demand and the implementation of the trade-in subsidy policy, and after study by the relevant departments, the application deadline has been adjusted and announced as follows: 1. The deadline for 2026 Beijing car trade-in subsidy applications is extended from 24:00 on November 30, 2026 to 24:00 on January 10, 2027, unless the annual subsidy funds are used up first. Applicants who need to correct or supplement their information must complete and submit the changes before 24:00 on January 20, 2027. Applications or corrections submitted after the deadline will not be eligible for a subsidy. 2. For the vehicle scrappage-and-renewal subsidy, the Certificate of Scrap Vehicle Recycling, Certificate of Vehicle Deregistration, Unified Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales and Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate submitted by the applicant must all be obtained between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. 3. For the vehicle replacement-and-renewal subsidy, the invoice dates shown on the Unified Invoice for Used Car Sales and the Unified Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales, the most recent transfer registration date shown on the Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate of the transferred passenger car, and the registration date shown on the Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate of the newly purchased passenger car must all fall between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026. Matters not covered by this notice shall continue to follow the relevant provisions of the 2026 Beijing Car Trade-In Subsidy Implementation Plan (Jing Shang Liu Tong Zi [2026] No. 2).
