On October 30, the 2027 Dongfeng eπ 007 was officially launched in Wuhan. Two variants are offered, priced at RMB 115,900-135,900, with a limited-time subsidised price of RMB 109,900-129,900. The new car upgrades its pure-electric range: the 2027 675 LiDAR Edition delivers a CLTC electric range of 675km. That variant also adds a LiDAR and the Tianyuan T200 driver-assistance system. Buyers who order from now on also receive a gift package worth RMB 38,800 in total. Note: the images show the current eπ 007. As a refresher, the eπ 007 is a mid-to-large sedan with a fastback coupe profile, measuring 4880/1915 (1895)/1476mm with a 2915mm wheelbase. The 2027 model runs 245/45 R19 tyres, and the larger wheels give it a younger, sportier stance. Five exterior colours are available across the range. New for 2027 is "Aurora Purple" metallic paint, whose fine metallic particles add depth to the body and keep their finish over time. "Starry Night Black" and "Glaze White" now use a pearlescent process, and they are joined by "Harbour Blue" and "Sunward Gold". Front trunk capacity is 32L and the boot holds 490L. Interestingly, the eπ 007 has a wide-opening liftback tailgate that makes loading bulky luggage easier. The door handles are semi-flush mechanical units, in line with the new national standard. Note: the images show the current eπ 007. Inside, there is a 15.6-inch central screen with a Qualcomm 8295P cockpit chip, and the front seats offer power adjustment, heating and ventilation. The 2027 model gets a heat pump and a PM2.5 filtration system as standard. Three interior colour schemes are offered: "Interstellar Obsidian Black", "Warm Mountain Jade White" and "Flowing Light Gold Orange", so buyers can mix and match freely. The LiDAR version is equipped with the Tianyuan T200 driver-assistance system, which supports urban and highway navigation assist as well as all-scenario parking assist for difficult spaces. For power, the 2027 eπ 007 EV uses a rear-mounted single motor rated at 160kW or 200kW, with 550km and 675km of electric range respectively.
