Recently, FAW Bestune announced that the five-door version of the Bestune Pony will go on sale on October 28. Compared to the previous three-door model, the new car offers more interior space and is easier to enter and exit. Additionally, the exterior and interior of the new model have been updated. In terms of the exterior design, the new Pony retains the current model's design while optimizing the details. It gets lens-type LED headlights. The front fascia adopts a body-colour finish, with the front bumper design being toned down and the front air intake becoming more refined. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 3350/1540/1600mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2215mm. Compared to the two-door model, the new model is 350 mm longer, 30 mm wider and has a 262 mm longer wheelbase. The new model features a new semi-hidden door handle and adopts a new set of wheels, which enhances the interior space with its five-door design. In the rear, the tail light design has been optimized, making the overall look more rounded. The rear bumper has also been adjusted, with the design being toned down. In terms of the interior, the new model's center console is more streamlined, with additional storage space. The steering wheel features additional function buttons, and the layout of the buttons on the center console has been optimized, with the buttons being distributed on both sides, and the center display has been removed. The seat fabric material has also been optimized. The power parameters of the new model have not yet been disclosed. Based on the current three-door model, the vehicle is equipped with a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a maximum power of 41 horsepower (30 kilowatts) and a peak torque of 90 Newton-meters.
