New Range Rover Spy Shots Surface; Curved Screen Expected for the Interior
Recently, spy shots of the new Range Rover have been revealed, with the main changes focused on the interior, which is expected to undergo significant upgrades.
In terms of the exterior, the new Range Rover continues with the front grille of its predecessor, with a redesigned mesh pattern. The horizontal slats have been slimmed down and packed more tightly. The outer shape of the headlights is unchanged, though the internal light clusters have been revised. The front bumper design is expected to remain consistent with the current model.
The overall structure of the body and rear section is nearly identical to the current model, with the vertical taillights and black horizontal strips being retained.
This test vehicle is an engineering prototype, with the original factory interior removed, and it is equipped with a roll cage and two racing seats. These features will not be present in the production model.
Previously, it was reported that the cabin will undergo multiple changes, and a curved central display is expected.
In terms of power, it is expected that the new model will maintain the same setup as the current model, with the flagship version continuing to use the BMW-provided 4.4T twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with a mild hybrid system, capable of delivering up to 615 horsepower.
The current powertrain lineup of the current model also includes the Ingenium 3.0T inline-six turbocharged engine developed by Jaguar Land Rover, with maximum power outputs of 360 horsepower and 400 horsepower.
Additionally, the new model will also offer a 3.0T plug-in hybrid and a 3.0T inline-six twin-turbo diesel engine.
