On April 11, official sources from Denza confirmed that its European market expansion is accelerating. By the end of 2026, Denza plans to cover more than 30 European countries and establish over 150 retail stores. Regarding the charging network, BYD will build 6,000 overseas super-fast charging stations globally, including 3,000 in Europe, forming an efficient energy-replenishing system.
Meanwhile, Denza held its launch event at the Opéra National de Paris in France, where its full-size premium sedan, the Denza Z9GT, made its official European debut. This marks a new milestone in Denza’s global strategy.
Notably, Denza’s super-fast charging technology also premiered simultaneously in Europe. It delivers 5 minutes of charging for range extension and 9 minutes for a full charge at room temperature. Even in extreme cold as low as -30°C, a full charge takes only 12 minutes—just 3 minutes longer than at normal temperatures, effectively alleviating low-temperature charging anxiety.
Pricing for the Denza Z9GT starts at approximately €115,000 (over ¥900,000 RMB). The model is now available for order via Denza’s official websites in seven European markets, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
For reference, the Chinese domestic version offers both single-motor and tri-motor variants. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power output of 370 kW, while the tri-motor version features three motors with 230 kW, 310 kW, and 310 kW respectively. In terms of battery performance:
The all-electric Denza Z9GT boasts a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 1,036 km.
The plug-in hybrid version delivers a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 401 km.
Additionally, the Denza Z9GT is equipped with Tianshen Eye 5.0 assisted driving system, intelligent driving blue indicator lights, the second-generation Blade Battery, Yunlian-A intelligent chassis control, and AEB emergency braking.
