Jeep again announces the introduction of two new energy off-road models in 2027

Recently, Dongfeng Motor, Stellantis Group, Shenlong Motor and others signed a strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the total investment of this cooperation exceeds 8 billion yuan. Through the joint production of Peugeot and Jeep brand cars in China, the partnership between the two companies has been further expanded for 34 years. The above products will be sold to the global market. Shenlong Automobile Co., Ltd. plans to produce two new new energy models of the Peugeot brand at its Wuhan plant in the early stage of the project from 2027. The new model will be based on the latest design language of the brand's new concept car unveiled at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show. The products will be geared towards China and exported to overseas markets, contributing to the global growth plans of the Peugeot brand. The above agreement also includes the production of two new energy off-road models of the Jeep brand at the Wuhan factory of Shenlong Company from 2027 onwards, and the products will be sold in the global market. This cooperation empowers new energy intelligent networking technology innovation with industrial capital, and at the same time, relying on the synergistic advantages of industrial chain clusters, integrates global brands and market resources, and comprehensively promotes the transformation and upgrading of Shenlong Company for intelligence, internationalization and greenization.
