51% year-on-year increase/Taishan X8 pre-sale orders exceeded 30,000 Lantu vehicles in April, delivering 15,146 vehicles

On May 1, Lantu Motor announced the latest data. In April, it delivered 15,146 vehicles, an increase of 51% year-on-year; in January-April, it delivered a total of 49,038 vehicles, an increase of 36% year-on-year. At the same time, following the release of the two major shareholder overweight plans, Lantu Motor has been substantially overweighted by the controlling shareholder, with a cumulative total of 5.469 million shares as of April 24, which further boosted market confidence. The Lantu Taishan X8 (parameter | inquiry) has been pre-sold before, with a total of 5 configurations, with a pre-sale price range of 3029-389900 yuan. More than 30,000 vehicles have been ordered so far, according to officials. For a quick recap, the Lantu Taishan X8 measures 5200/2025/1814mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 3090mm. The body color is available in 6 options: Starlight Silver, Tourmaline Red, Distant Mountain Blue, Xuanying Black, Duro White, and Chenxing Grey. From the perspective of intelligent configuration, the new car is equipped with the Huawei 896 line four-lidar system (1 main lidar + 3 solid-state lidar) for the first time, combined with high-definition cameras and millimeter-wave radar. The hardware supports L3 level automatic driving, with high perception accuracy and strong anti-jamming ability. In terms of intelligent systems, it is equipped with a new generation of Hongmeng cockpit and high-end intelligent driving assistance system, which supports high-speed pilotage, urban Noa, automatic parking, remote control parking, active hedging, intersection warning and other functions, and supports continuous OTA upgrades. The new car will be equipped with Huawei's latest generation smart cockpit, with a dual 15.6-inch 2K display in the front row and a large five-seat layout. Two rows of shared zero gravity seats, rear seats support up to 145° lying down angle, support up to 200mm sliding stroke front and rear, and provide a 32-point massage covering the neck to the calf and the world's first kneading mechanical massage. In terms of power, the plug-in hybrid model will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 110 kilowatts. In terms of drive motors, the car will offer two power versions depending on the configuration, the former with front and rear motor power of 150 kilowatts and 215 kilowatts, respectively, and the latter with front and rear motor power of 150 kilowatts and 230 kilowatts, respectively. The new car provides 800V high-voltage platform +5C ultra-fast charging. The battery life of the car will be 190km, 300km and 310km, and the fuel consumption of the feed will be 6.8L/100km and 6.5L/100km, respectively. The pure electric model will be equipped with a 120kWh battery pack, with a CLTC range of more than 700km, and 0-80% refueling can be completed in 12 minutes at room temperature under 5C ultra-fast charging.
