In the same period, Auto House invited Gao Fei, executive vice president of Chery Brand Marketing Center, to carry out in-depth exchanges, focus on innovation together, and talk about the future of the industry. Goofy first introduced the key highlights of the Beijing Auto Show - Chery debuted in Hall E1 in the form of a private pavilion, and its six major brands, Chery, Jietu, Zongheng, Xingtu, Zhijie and iCAR, participated in the exhibition. The mass-produced models include the Arize 8 (parameter | inquiry) series, Tiggo 8, Fengyun T11, A9L and the just-launched T9L. During the same period, five concept vehicles were introduced, including two Wagon models and three new fuel representative models, of which Arize S is scheduled to be officially launched from the end of the year to the beginning of next year. At the strategic level, Goofy focused on explaining the underlying logic of Chery's adherence to "new fuel": the proportion of vehicles with engines in the Chinese market still exceeds 60%, and the fuel and hybrid models in the global automobile market of about 70 million vehicles still occupy the mainstream. Differences in infrastructure, differences in fuel-electricity ratios, and different generations of development in various countries jointly constitute the actual demand base for fuel vehicles. He stressed that Chery's "new fuel" is not old-fashioned, but takes "oil and electricity equal rights, oil and electricity equalities, oil and electricity homogeneity, and safety peers" as the core, and explores the global development path of new energy and fuel in parallel. In terms of sales volume, Chery sold about 90,000 units in the UK + EU market in the first quarter, of which pure new energy reached 30,000 units. The UK market ranked second in March, demonstrating the strong competitiveness of Chinese independent brands in traditional automobile industry powerhouses. In terms of intelligence, Goofy revealed that it will land the city Noa to fuel vehicles by the end of the year, further breaking the industry bias that "fuel vehicles are not suitable for high-end intelligence". I would like to ask what are the highlights of Chery's overall participation in this Beijing Auto Show? Goofy: This time, Chery exhibited in Hall E1 in the form of a private gallery. Throughout the exhibition hall, we participated in all brands, all strains, and all categories. Chery, Jietu, Xiangxiang, Xingtu, Zhijie, and iCAR were all in Hall E1. I hope that netizens will have time to visit Hall E1. In addition to the whole brand, various brands have brought their own products, such as Chery's Arizona 8 series, Tiggo 8, Fengyun series T11, A9L, and the just-launched T9L, which are all mass-produced cars. They all have their own mass-produced cars to be exhibited in Hall E1, and they also bring some concept cars. Our upcoming production concept car was also demonstrated, with Chery bringing five concept cars, two Wagon, three new fuels, Wagon 1925 and A9, one large size 3 meters and above, and one wheelbase 2 meters 9. The new fuel brings three models. One of the flagship SUVs is called Thunderbolt X, and the sedan representing the future research direction is called Arize X. The other is a medium-sized and large-sized sedan called Arize S that will be launched at the end of this year and early next year. These three cars are representative models of the new fuel. Car House: You just mentioned the launch of a number of fuel vehicles, Chery proposed to do China's new fuel, and now the new energy is a general trend, why under such a general trend, adhere to the innovation and iteration of fuel technology? Goofy: One of the key points you just mentioned is the general trend of new energy, which we highly agree with. Because Chery is a world-class enterprise, we must consider the layout of energy, and we cannot say that Chery is a one-legged road. Chery is a domestic and international, fuel and new energy dual layout. In particular, the growth rate of new energy is very fast, and the speed is very fast. We can make our own motors and electric controls, and the batteries have also made the layout of products, the layout of research and development, and the growth rate of new energy products is also very fast. Those products belong to new energy products, not that Chery is old and unwilling to do new energy. Why do we decide that fuel vehicles still have their own market? Like QQ New Energy, which has been in short supply for a month and has delivered thousands of units in a month, our new energy vehicles have also sold well. Why do you do fuel vehicles is based on two considerations. The Chinese market is so large. Last year, fuel vehicles accounted for nearly 50%. If you consider that 20% or 30% of that 50% of new energy is used in engines, whether it is extended range or hybrid. These two plus, there are more than 60% of cars with engines. This is our basic starting point. China is such a big place, from east to west, from south to north, the south may be more friendly to electric vehicles, but in the north, northeast, northwest, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, ordinary users still consider the impact of durability and winter endurance. Of course, new energy vehicles are also solving this problem, which still needs a certain time and cycle. This is the demand of Chinese users. In addition, like the international market, the annual sales volume is probably more than 70 million vehicles. Among them, 70% of the cars are fuel vehicles, and 30% are new energy. There are still some hybrid and extended ranges in this 30%. If the proportion of pure electricity is removed, the proportion in the global market is actually different. There are several reasons for this. First, China's infrastructure speed is too fast. The infrastructure is particularly fast. There are a lot of supercharging, fast charging, and even slow charging around the exhibition hall. From the application to the installation of the charging pile in China, it can be installed for up to a week. In many places abroad, whether you can install it, let you not install it, or apply for it is two different things. It is very difficult, and the infrastructure is not the same. Second, the oil price is not the same, the oil-to-electricity ratio is not the same, the German oil-to-electricity ratio is about 7 times the same, the oil is about 12 or 13 yuan, the electricity is about more than 2 yuan, China is not the same, China's electricity is 30 yuan, the oil is more than 8 yuan, such a ratio is more than 20 times the relationship, Chinese consumers may be a little better with trams, I myself bought a tram, the cost of use is extremely low, the trams are quiet, acceleration, buy tens of thousands of cars is almost the same acceleration as a million-level supercar, the country is not the same, the geography is not the same, the demand is not the same, the infrastructure is not the same, the intergenerational development of the whole society is not the same. Fuel cars We judge that there is a market of our own, we are walking on two legs, parallel, new energy We have been doing, and doing very well. We put forward the concept of "new fuel" because users have needs and the market has needs. It can't be said that I am in China. China does not work on new energy, fuel vehicles, and enterprises do not develop much, because Chery is a global enterprise. Just like electric bicycles and motorcycles, electric bicycles are very convenient to go out and buy vegetables and children, but they can't stop young people from buying motorcycles. Motorcycles are also very bulky in China. Zhang Xuefeng is now very hot. Motorcycles are running all over Beijing. Electric bicycles can't solve their pursuits and demands. Auto Home: Chery Group's recent sales performance, I heard that overseas sales are quite good. Goofy: Regardless of the domestic and international Chery sales are remarkable, exports have always been champions, China's various Chery brands have developed very well, like the European market, from January to March, the first quarter in the United Kingdom + the European Union sold about 90,000 cars. Simply new energy has done 30,000 cars in the UK + EU, why should I use this example? Because the entire export is to all parts of the world, of course, the volume is very large. Taking this place as an example is very typical and representative, because Europe and the UK are among the strongest countries in the automobile industry. I have never thought of doing this step for more than 20 years. Automobile House: The last time I saw overseas data, it was probably that Chinese brands can account for 6% of the overall market in Europe this year, and the market share of new energy is about 12%. How is Chery developing in Europe? Goofy: Countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy are all totem-like markets. Like we ranked second in the United Kingdom last month, the first public, and the second Chery. The sales base and equivalent are very large. And in the past decade, only Chery has done this step, indicating that the awareness and recognition of Chery products in foreign markets is still very high. Automobile House: Is it possible that Chinese automobiles will take over the global market as long as they take over Europe? After all, the automobile powerhouse is mainly in Europe. Goofy: I don't know how you understand cars. Chinese cars have successfully transformed cars from luxury goods and bulk consumer goods into fast-moving consumer goods. The replacement cycle in many countries is more than 10 years, and the replacement cycle in China is 5.8 years. This is different from economic development and users' understanding of cars. Europe regards cars as durable goods, China is fast-moving consumer goods, and some people change cars in two or three years. The idea is that the car is becoming more and more tooled and the cost is getting lower and lower. Automobile House: Chery Group has recently launched a number of new energy products. What breakthroughs have been made at the technical, product and brand levels? Goofy: Because we used to be a little bit slower for the entire electrical appliance, motor, battery layout, but we have been doing it, we have our motors, batteries, we don't want to talk so much, we are doing it ourselves. The above products can sell for more than 200,000, the value goes up, the price goes up, the product goes up, in order to provide users with more and better value. When it comes to the down time, products like QQ meet the functional needs of more people to buy vegetables, pick up dolls, and short trips. We are also doing it. From top to middle, the layout of products is done. High-end products like smart, star, horizontal, six-wheel drive hybrid vehicles, including F700 pickups, are doing it. The entire series of high-end vehicles are doing it. From top to bottom, from high to low, we are all in a full range of layouts. Car House: There is also a voice in the industry that believes that "fuel vehicles are naturally not suitable for high-end intelligence". However, there is a trend from this year. Many car companies say that they will also start to make fuel vehicles intelligent. What do you think about this? Goofy: Because we put forward the concept of new fuel is not a joke, not a single dry new engine, our new fuel is the same as oil and electricity, there are oil and electricity equivalent, oil and electricity homogeneous, safe peers, the same effect is the 5 kWh HEV we do, this is the first proposed by Chery. Car House: Chery has gone far in overseas markets. Do you think that foreign countries will plug in mixed cars to sell better? Goofy: It is difficult to judge now, because the development conditions are different in each country. Like Southeast Asia, it may be rapidly electrified, the climate is better, and it is more suitable for electric vehicles. Car House: Can their infrastructure keep up? Goofy: It depends on the speed of development and national strategies. For example, the intelligent driving just now is now divided into intelligent assistance and smart cabin. The cars we are now listed on the market, the cars sold on the booth, the 30-inch large screen, the 8255 chip, and the high-speed Noa parking are all unique products on the fuel car. We all have them, and we are all using them. The products we are selling now have been realized. At the end of the year, we will put the products of the city Noa on the fuel car. This has been realized. It is not so exaggerated outside, and the technical problems are still easy to solve.
