The transcript is out! SAIC Group's sales exceeded 1.3 million units in the first four months of April!

On May 3, SAIC Group released the latest sales data, achieving a total vehicle sales of 328,000 units in April. A total of 1.32 million units were sold in January-April. Among them, the sales volume of SAIC passenger cars increased by 44% year-on-year in January-April, and the sales volume of smart cars increased by 130.4% year-on-year; the joint venture brand rebounded, and the sales volume of SAIC-GM increased by 3.3% year-on-year in January-April; the sales volume of new energy vehicles increased steadily, with 412,000 vehicles sold in January-April, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year; the sales volume of overseas markets broke out, with 459,000 vehicles sold in January-April, an increase of 50.2% year-on-year. Specifically, in January-April this year, SAIC's own brand sales reached 910,000 units, an increase of 6.9% year-on-year, accounting for 69.9% of the group's sales, an increase of 5.5% over the same period last year. Among them, 334,000 SAIC passenger cars were sold in January-April, up 44% year-on-year; 83,000 were sold by SAIC Chase, up 19.5% year-on-year; and 432,000 were sold by SAIC-GM-Wuling. In terms of new energy vehicle sales, in January-April this year, SAIC New Energy Vehicles sold a total of 412,000 vehicles, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year. In January-April, Zhi Ji vehicles sold 24,000 vehicles, an increase of 130.4% year-on-year; SAIC passenger vehicles sold 128,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 234.2% year-on-year; SAIC Chase sold 23,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 38.4% year-on-year; SAIC-GM sold 26,000 NEVs, up 145.5% yoy; SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 169,000 NEVs. For overseas markets, SAIC sold a total of 459,000 vehicles in the overseas market in January-April this year, up 50.2% year-on-year. SAIC MG sold 120,000 units in the European market in January-April, up 22% year-on-year; SAIC Chase's overseas sales exceeded 10,000 units in April, a significant increase year-on-year; SAIC-GM-Wuling's overseas historical cumulative sales as of April this year exceeded 1.5 million units.
