Its overseas performance was remarkable, with overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups hitting 119,591 units, a 65.2% year-on-year increase.
From a brand perspective, the BYD Dynasty and Ocean series, as the core pillars of the brand, achieved sales of 262,327 units in March, accounting for nearly 90% of the group's total sales and continuing to solidify its leading position in the domestic new energy vehicle market. Fang Cheng Bao (a BYD sub-brand) recorded sales of 25,926 units in March, with its brand momentum steadily rising. Denza posted sales of 7,133 units in March, with its high-end MPV and SUV product lineup continuing to make an impact and maintaining competitiveness in the 300,000 to 500,000 yuan new energy vehicle market. Yangwang sold 307 units in March.
From January to March 2026, BYD Group's cumulative sales reached 700,463 vehicles; among them, the cumulative overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups stood at 319,751 vehicles, with the proportion of overseas market sales continuing to rise, demonstrating the significant effectiveness of its global layout. As of now, BYD's cumulative global sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 15.8 million units, continuing to lead the global new energy vehicle market.
