Fifteen years of renewal Porcelain Art Union Bugatti W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel special edition official map.
Recently, the official map of the Bugatti W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel special edition was officially released. The new car is a limited edition model created by Sur Mesure, the exclusive customization department of the Bugatti brand, in conjunction with KPM, the royal porcelain manufacturer in Berlin, and the custom livery is named "Blanc Éternel (Eternal White)", which is the only one in the world. The Bugatti W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel Grand Sport L’Or Blanc from Bugatti Airlines is reported to have once again joined hands after 15 years, integrating digital car design with porcelain craftsmanship, bringing a memorable ending to the legendary W16 road convertible, while also replicating and sublimating the classic concept of the 2011 Veyron Grand Sport "L 'Or Blanc (Platinum)" porcelain co-branded model. The origins of this cooperation can be traced back to 15 years ago, when Bugatti and KPM launched L'Or Blanc, which became an iconic starting point for the brand's high-end customized design and the world's first mass production supercar with porcelain decoration inside and outside. After 15 years, the two sides no longer simply reproduce the classic lines of the year, but reconstructed the entire visual system based on Bugatti's new digital design language, paying tribute to history while showing the evolutionary results of the brand's customized design. The exterior of the vehicle features a pure white body base with delicate black lines running through the body, and the lines completely reproduce the curved surface structure of the vehicle during the digital modeling stage, which directly demonstrates the precise geometric logic behind the curved surface of the body. The strong black and white contrast color reproduces the visual texture of the digital modeling, while the model name "Blanc Éternel" has a double-layer meaning, which refers to the permanent and pure beauty of pure white porcelain and symbolizes the irreplaceable and eternal position of the W16 engine in the history of the Bugatti brand. The entire paint process is extremely complex. All lines need to be smoothly extended to fit the three-dimensional curved surface of the car body. After the digital design is completed, all rely on Bugatti's senior craftsmen to manually blend and spray multi-layer paint. Relying on the experience of craftsmen to control the direction of lines and paint layers, the digital creativity is still inseparable from the traditional manual craftsmanship. The porcelain material is the core highlight of this unique model. The KPM team and Bugatti have solved the technical problems of high-performance supercars equipped with fragile porcelain, completed multiple sets of precision machining and safety tests, and integrated warm porcelain into many key details inside and outside the vehicle. Externally, the Bugatti EB logo, fuel fill cap, and oil fill cap are made of pure white porcelain; two porcelain trim panels are embedded in the engine cover plate, engraved with KPM's iconic royal sceptre brand logo. The cockpit interior porcelain ornaments cover the high-frequency contact area of the passenger. The speaker grille, knee pad inlaid decorative plates, gearshift rod decorative strips, center console inlaid decorative plates, and window control buttons all use fine white porcelain. The cold mechanical supercar forms the ultimate contrast with warm porcelain, reshaping the touch and visual hierarchy of the luxury cockpit. As the last Bugatti W16 convertible model that can legally go on the road, the W16 Mistral itself carries the special significance of the end of the 8.0-liter four-turbo W16 engine era. The birth of Blanc Éternel coincides with the beginning and end of the W16: Veyron 16.4 establishes the legendary status of the W16, and Mistral is the ultimate road form of this set of power. The porcelain joint series witnessed the complete development process. The two ultimate attributes are perfectly integrated in this car - porcelain represents the handmade aesthetics that have been passed down for hundreds of years, and W16 represents the top mechanical properties in the history of automotive engineering, and the two collide to create a unique cross-border supercar form. In order to commemorate the resumption of this cooperation, Bugatti and KPM simultaneously launched the limited edition porcelain collection series with the same name "Blanc Éternel". The whole set of products is inspired by this custom supercar design, including KPM's classic accompanying driving cup and two sizes of Aviator Cup. The whole series is only hand-crafted 1000 pieces, each of which continues the two brands' common pursuit of precision craftsmanship, pure texture and timeless design. From the 2011 Veyron L'Or Blanc to today's Mistral Blanc Éternel, Bugatti continues to push the boundaries of automotive design with the Sur Mesure bespoke project, deeply combining traditional top craftsmanship with modern supercar manufacturing. The only Blanc Éternel in the world, it is not only the perfect end of the W16 era, but also a new benchmark for Bugatti to interpret the concept of "symbiosis of mechanical properties and artistic ingenuity".
