2026 Paris Motor Show: XPeng G9L launches in Europe starting at about 560,000 yuan, offering either 6 or 7 seats.
On October 12, during the media day of the 2026 Paris Auto Show, XPeng Motor officially unveiled the XPeng G9L in Paris and announced the European starting prices, along with the launch. From the revealed starting prices, the G9L costs 74,990 euros in France (approximately 560,000 RMB), 74,600 euros in Germany, 74,990 euros in Belgium, 75,600 euros in Austria, 75,990 euros in the Netherlands, 749,900 kronor in Norway, 63,999.5 Danish kroner in Denmark, and 84,990 Swedish kronor in Sweden.
The XPeng G9L has already been launched in China, with the introductory price set at 231,800-309,800 RMB (approximately 3.2 million RMB). It offers both pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
This European version of the pure electric G9L is priced approximately 2.3 times higher than its entry-level pure electric version in China, which is about 320,000 euros (approximately 2.3 million RMB). The reasons for this pricing include the rigid costs of EU anti-dumping taxes, base tariffs, and VAT in various countries, as well as certification, logistics, and channel setup fees. Additionally, this pricing strategy aligns with XPeng's brand positioning in Europe.
Notably, this is the first time XPeng has introduced a three-row seating flagship SUV to Europe, and the company has tailored the 6/7-seat layout to meet European needs, significantly different from the five-seat product definition in China.
While the G9L is already a substantial product in Europe, it is worth noting that the G9L was also showcased at the Oslo Auto Show from October 23 to 25, to gradually expand its presence in the Nordic market.
