At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, the Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback models were unveiled in production form. "Grizzly" means "Grizzly Bear," positioning it above the Fiat Grande Panda (literally "Panda"), which will be part of a "Series of Animals" lineup competing in the household SUV market alongside it. The new model will offer two body types: a traditional SUV (Grizzly) and a Coupe SUV (Grizzly Fastback), with various powertrain options including gasoline, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The Fiat Grizzly Fastback features a new design style, with a black full-width trim strip at the front, integrated with a matrix LED light strip that seamlessly connects to the side headlights. The central, flatter air intake design creates a strong sense of depth, while the lower fascia is complemented by matrix chrome trim pieces with the grille. The Fiat Grizzly Fastback will have a body length of around 4.4-4.5 meters, with the A-pillar in black, and the door handles, exterior mirrors, and side skirts also in black. It will come with low-drag wheels. The Grizzly Fastback features a dual-tone body design, with the A-pillar and roof in black; the Grizzly has a black A-pillar but a body color roof. The Fiat Grizzly Fastback has tail lights that echo the design of the front, with segmented lighting units within the tail light clusters, creating a unique look. The Grizzly features a silver roof-mounted luggage rack, while the Grizzly Fastback adopts a sloping roof design. The interiors of both models are consistent, featuring a full LCD instrument panel and a floating touchscreen, with a dual-spoke steering wheel and an electronic gear shifter located in the front center console area. From the real-life images, both models offer similar rear legroom, with the Grizzly having slightly more headroom in the rear. The cargo space is also larger in the Grizzly. In terms of powertrain, the Fiat Grizzly/Grizzly Fastback hybrid models are equipped with a 75kW 1.2L three-cylinder engine paired with a 48V motor, and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The electric models will feature a 44kWh battery pack, driving an 83kW electric motor, with a WLTP combined range of up to 320 kilometers. [Image source: Pin Ason ; Text by: AutoHome Chang Qinglin]
