Nissan Pathfinder 40th Anniversary Edition Official Images Released, Honoring Its Original Model
Recently, Nissan has officially released images of the Pathfinder 40th Anniversary Edition, with detailed upgrades to the exterior and interior to pay homage to the 1987 debut of the original Pathfinder.
It is reported that the car will be launched alongside the 2027 model Pathfinder at North American dealerships in November. The base price for the regular model is $39,990 (about RMB 267,000); while the 40th Anniversary Edition starts at $47,390 (about RMB 316,000).
Taking a look at the new car, the most noticeable change in the interior is the black and red dual-tone theme, paying homage to the original Pathfinder's burgundy seats. The exterior also features more red elements, such as the grille, tail emblem, and C-pillar emblem.
In terms of features, the car will be equipped with 20-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, rear sunshade, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
In terms of power, the car will continue to be equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine, with a maximum power output of 288 horsepower and a peak torque of 351 Newton meters. It will be matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and comes with full-time all-wheel drive.
Mid- and low-spec variants have a towing capacity of 3500 pounds, while the high-end models will be increased to 6000 pounds.
