Fangchengbao Ti 9 Display and Test Cars Arriving at Dealerships in Late October, Launch Planned for Mid-to-Late November
We have learned from the brand that the Fangchengbao Ti 9 display and test cars are expected to arrive at dealerships in late October, with the market launch to follow after November 15. After the Ti 9 goes on sale, the Fangchengbao Shark pickup is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries between late November and early December.
As a recap, the Ti 9 is the flagship of the Ti series. It uses a six-seat layout and is powered by the sixth-generation DM-i hybrid system, delivering a combined range of over 1,600km on a full tank and a full charge. Pricing is expected to land at around RMB 400,000.
On the outside, the Ti 9 follows the family design language, with a closed front grille paired with a full-width ring light strip that wraps around the brand logo, plus an all-black body finish that gives it strong visual presence.
For assisted driving, the Ti 9 comes standard across the range with the God's Eye B 5.0 advanced intelligent driving assistance system.
Viewed from the side, it uses a short front overhang and a long rear overhang, combined with sculpted character lines and flared wheel arches for a muscular stance. At the rear, a split "heaven-and-earth" tailgate opens in two sections, and T-shaped taillights add a distinctive design touch.
Dimensions are 5,270mm long, 1,999mm wide and 1,850mm tall, with a 3,130mm wheelbase, a 19-degree approach angle and a 22-degree departure angle. Standard boot capacity is 655 litres, expanding to 1,245 litres with the third row folded flat, plus 60 litres of under-floor storage. The split tailgate can bear up to 300kg, opens and closes in under five seconds, and can be stopped anywhere between 0 and 72 degrees.
Inside, the dashboard uses fairly straight, horizontal lines and features the "energy-gathering star ring" air vents and "fusion halo" ambient lighting integrated with the audio system. The cabin offers up to ten linked screens, headlined by a 30-inch panoramic display across the front. There is also a 31-speaker Devialet sound system, headrest speakers for the first and second rows, a nano water-ion air conditioner and an 11.3-litre dual-door, dual-layer refrigerator.
The Ti 9 uses a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The front passenger gets a cradle-style seat. The second row features independent zero-gravity seats with heating, ventilation, massage, lateral adjustment, more than 140 degrees of recline and powered leg rests. The third row also offers ventilation, heating, massage, dedicated air vents, cup holders and charging ports.
Under the skin, the car pairs a 1.5T engine with front and rear electric motors for a plug-in hybrid all-wheel-drive system built around the sixth-generation DM-i technology. The 1.5T engine produces a maximum of 115kW, while the two motors deliver a combined 400kW. A 66.48kWh battery pack gives a WLTC all-electric range of 310km, and combined range on a full tank and a full charge exceeds 1,600km.
It uses a unibody structure and comes with the DiSus-A body control system including road preview, which senses upcoming surface undulations and actively adjusts suspension damping - smooth as a sedan on paved roads, composed over rough surfaces. The iATS intelligent all-terrain system automatically recognises ice, snow, sand, mud and gravel, and matches powertrain and chassis settings accordingly.
