The Paris Motor Show officially opened on October 12, and Changan Automobile showcased its three new electric brands, including Avatr, Deepal, and Changan Qiyuan. Among them, the concept version of Avatr T09 made its global debut at the Paris Motor Show, with the Q05 and Q06 SUV models also making their debut during the press conference. The official European launch plans for some of the models were also announced. The concept version of Avatr T09 had already been unveiled the day before (October 11), positioning it as the successor to the Avatr 9 series. The production version is expected to be launched in 2026, with an estimated price tag of over RMB 500,000. The concept version of Avatr T09 has a length, width, and height of 5285/2025/1810mm, with a wheelbase of 3150mm, featuring a six-seat layout. The vehicle offers two power configurations: one with a 1.5T engine (110kW) paired with dual motors (180kW/310kW), and another with a 2.0T engine (155kW) paired with a front motor of 180kW and dual rear motors of 225kW. The battery is equipped with a 71.24kWh battery from CATL, providing a maximum CLTC range over 400km. For autonomous driving, the vehicle is equipped with a Huawei Kunlun ADS 5 lidar solution, a Taixing Intelligent Control system, and features a closed-loop dual-cavity air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and crab-walk mode. Changan Qiyuan (Changan NEVO) made its debut in the European market for the first time, showcasing the Changan NEVO Q05, Q06, and A06 models. The Q05 is positioned as a global urban luxury electric SUV for young urban users, with its initial European launch scheduled for early 2027 in Spain and Italy. The S05 and S07 models from Deepal have already been sold in Europe, with the PHEV version of the S07 set to enter the European market within the year. In 2026, Changan exported 15,943 vehicles to Europe, with cumulative growth of 281.1% year-over-year. At the press conference, the official announced that Changan's localization production layout in Europe is basically set, with 180,000 vehicle capacity to be established by 2028, and 350,000 vehicle capacity planned by 2030. The local production cooperation is expected to be announced within the year.
