Aston Martin's first all-electric model is delayed to 2033–2035 V8/V12 until 2035.
Recently, Aston Martin officially said that the launch window of the brand's first pure electric model is scheduled for 2033 to 2035, and plans to continue to produce V8 and V12 engines in compliance with the regulations until 2035. Previously, Aston Martin had given the goal of launching the first all-electric model in 2030, and the CEO of Aston Martin said that although the company is still studying the timing and landing of the electric model, the delay will not affect the brand's fuel vehicle product line, and the V8 and V12 engines will continue to be produced until 2035. According to Aston Martin CEO, the brand already has a technology roadmap that will allow its fuel engines to continue to meet regulatory requirements until 2035, covering V8 and V12 engines in almost all current models. He said that hybrid systems are part of this roadmap, but plug-in hybrid technology is likely to be out of the planning, and light or ordinary hybrid systems can help vehicles meet regulations without the need for large-capacity battery packs and charging facilities required for plug-in hybrid solutions.
