Hardcore Range-Extended Pickup: Changan Hunter K70 Launches October 23 With Off-Road AT Tyres
Recently, we learned that the Changan Hunter K70 will go on sale on October 23. The vehicle is a mid-size pickup truck with a certain level of off-road capability, equipped with 33-inch AT tires.
In terms of its exterior design, the front of the Changan Hunter K70 continues the family design. The mesh grille is in a pure black design, connected to the T-shaped headlights. The front bumper, fenders, and rear bumper all showcase a strong off-road aura.
The front bumper also has a position reserved for a winch installation, which will be installed based on user needs in the future.
Special decals are also placed on the front engine hood and side skirts, complemented by the 33-inch off-road tires (17-inch wheels) with a ground clearance of 245mm, a departure angle of 38 degrees, and an approach angle of 28 degrees.
In the rear, the cargo bed can be opened in segments, and there is no bed rack over the cargo bed. However, a towing socket is visible on the rear bumper, indicating that it has the legal towing qualifications for road use.
In terms of power, the vehicle will adopt an electric drive system. The maximum power of the 2.0T engine is 140kW, with the front and rear motors having maximum power of 110kW and 150kW, respectively. The system's combined power is 260kW, with a combined torque of 550 Newton meters.
It supports low-speed gear (for off-road climbing) and high-speed gear (for daily commuting).
