Recently, the official website of Tesla North America updated the global list of available regions for FSD Supervised mode (FSD Supervised). After the update, China does not appear in the list of available regions. So far, Tesla has not provided further clarification on this list change. The official website is accompanied by the caption on the page: "If a Tesla car is already sold in your country, but the FSD (Supervisory Version) is not yet live, this may be because your country requires that the feature must be explicitly approved by the local regulator. Tesla is actively working with governments around the world to obtain regulatory approvals." The page also states that once the FSD is approved in a country, eligible vehicles will receive the feature via an OTA software update. In May this year, Tesla's official X account posted that "FSD Supervised is now available in the following regions", and the 10 countries listed at the time were: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, China, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, the Netherlands, and Lithuania. Subsequently, Tesla China's official website adjusted the relevant naming system for driver assistance, and referred to the original "FSD" and "fully automatic driving capability" as "Tesla driver assistance". Officials also clarified that the driver must be monitored throughout the driving process of Tesla's driver assistance system and must not be taken off hand.
