Recently, the official real photos of the new XPeng MONA L05, have been launched on the product database of Car Home. This new model will start pre-sale on October 15th. XPeng hopes to position MONA L05 as the first large 5-seat SUV for young buyers. In terms of design, the MONA L05 carries forward the design style of the L03, with a larger and more stable body. The front of the car features the iconic starship headlights of the MONA family, and the central air intake grille, which is a design to balance aerodynamic coefficient and cooling efficiency. To attract young buyers, the MONA L05 features a dynamic and fashionable exterior design. The proportions of the exterior have been carefully designed, with a length-to-height ratio of 2.98, a width-to-height ratio of 1.18, and an wheelbase-to-length ratio of 0.6. The exterior also features muscular surfaces such as the raised front hood and the rounded shoulders, creating a youthful and sporty feeling. Looking at the side, the MONA L05 features large-diameter dual-tone wheels, floating rearview mirrors, yellow brake calipers, sharp waistlines, dynamic D-pillar design, and frameless doors, all of which enhance the car's eye-catching ability. The vehicle also features hidden water cutouts and a flat side window design, which are typically found in high-end luxury cars. The car also features an integrated half-hidden door handle, which is both aesthetically pleasing and helps reduce wind resistance. It also ensures safety in case of icing or power failure in winter. The vehicle dimensions are 4870/1930/1636mm, with a wheelbase of 2940mm. The standout feature of the MONA L05 is its star halo tail lights, which are designed as a full-width light bar, featuring over 300 laser-engraved LED lights, providing a high level of detail and excellent visibility at night. The interior of the MONA L05 is consistent with that of the L03, featuring a wrap-around cabin design with a simple center console, equipped with a floating center screen without a traditional dashboard. It also features a heads-up display (HUD) to display information such as speed, gear, range, and navigation. The lower center console is unique and features a wireless charging panel. The steering wheel is designed with a two-spoke layout. The interior also features a threaded interface, allowing for the installation of various accessories, such as a mount for a motion camera to record daily activities during travel. The MONA L05 features a two-part sunroof design, with privacy glass, air vents, Type-C phone charging ports, a small table, and an entertainment screen in the rear. The rear seat cushion has a drawer-style storage space. The rear seats can be folded, providing better storage space compared to the L03. The trunk features a storage tray at the bottom and a 12V 180W power outlet on the side. The front seats feature leg rest and lumbar support adjustment, with massage, heating, and ventilation capabilities. The passenger seat also features a zero-gravity mode, while the rear seats have heating capabilities, with a center headrest and ISOFIX child seat interface.
