On April 14, we obtained official interior images of XPeng’s all-new midsize-to-large SUV, the XPeng GX, from the company’s official sources. According to previous announcements, the XPeng GX technology launch event will be held on April 15, with its world premiere taking place at the same time.
From the official interior photos, the vehicle features a wrap-around cockpit design accented with chrome trim in numerous details. Together with a dual-spoke multifunctional steer-by-wire steering wheel (with 135mm electric extension/retraction and intelligent welcome function for the steering wheel and seats), a 17.3-inch 3K floating central control screen, and starry ribbon ambient lighting, it delivers a strong sense of refinement.
In terms of other equipment, the car is equipped with a pilot floating center console that includes an intelligent lifting charging panel and hidden lifting cup holders. It also features 33 Lingjing AI Audio Max speakers, supporting a 7.1.6.8 immersive panoramic sound system, including 8 headrest speakers.
For the rear cabin, the second row is fitted with a flip-down entertainment screen, a left-side small table, and a right-side magnetic expansion dock, greatly enhancing the riding experience for rear passengers.
Additional seat specifications include:
Front seats with 16-point massage, 16-way electric adjustment, 3-level ventilation, heating and leg rest heating.
A “queen co-pilot” zero-gravity seat (Nappa leather, one-button zero-gravity reclining).
Integrated seat belts and seat cushion airbags.
The second-row right seat is a zero-gravity seat, while the left is an aviation-style comfort seat.
Second-row seats also come with electric armrests, up to 16-point massage, up to 16-way electric adjustment, 3-level ventilation, heating and leg rest heating.
Briefly reviewing its exterior, the XPeng GX adopts an all-new design language. A closed-off front grille paired with a star-ring through-type light assembly creates a strong sense of technology. Benefiting from its body dimensions, the front fascia looks particularly imposing.
In terms of size, the new model measures 5265mm in length, 1999mm in width, 1800mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3115mm.
From the side, the vehicle features a through-type character line extending from the front light assembly to the taillights. Combined with multi-spoke wheels, hidden door handles and a floating roof, it presents an elegant and sophisticated visual effect. The relatively flat roofline also ensures generous interior space. At the rear, it also uses a through-type taillight assembly, creating visual harmony with the front end.
