Geely Automobile sales: over 700,000 units in the first quarter, with overseas export sales increasing by 126%

On April 1, 2026, Geely Auto officially released its complete sales performance report for the first quarter of 2026 and the month of March. The data shows that Geely Auto's cumulative sales in the first quarter reached 709,358 vehicles, setting a new historical high for the same period; monthly sales in March stood at 233,031 vehicles, marking a 13% month-on-month increase.

From an overall perspective, Geely Auto's total sales in the first quarter surpassed the 700,000-unit mark, and the 13% month-on-month increase in March sales demonstrated resilience amid industry price wars and product transition cycles. The proportion of new energy vehicle sales reached 52% in the first quarter and further rose to 55% in March; overseas exports even doubled, becoming a significant growth driver for the group's performance.

The Geely brand recorded cumulative sales of 550,659 vehicles in the first quarter, serving as the core stabilizer for the group's sales. The Geely China Star series achieved cumulative sales of 311,800 vehicles in the first quarter, with monthly sales in March reaching 95,543 vehicles, a 17% month-on-month increase, continuously solidifying its position in the fuel vehicle market. The Geely Galaxy brand posted cumulative sales of 238,859 vehicles in the first quarter, with monthly sales in March reaching 82,744 vehicles, a 13% month-on-month increase, becoming the core force behind Geely's new energy transformation. The Galaxy brand has become the fastest new energy vehicle brand to reach the milestone of 2 million units rolled off the production line. Geely's first AI all-terrain hardcore SUV was officially named the Geely Galaxy Battleship 700 (parameters and pricing to be confirmed). Built on a native new energy off-road architecture, it opens up a new market segment.

The Lynk & Co brand recorded cumulative sales of 81,662 vehicles in the first quarter, a 12% year-on-year increase; monthly sales in March stood at 25,426 vehicles, maintaining steady growth. The Lynk & Co new energy family achieved cumulative sales of 50,962 vehicles in the first quarter, a 34% year-on-year increase, with new energy vehicle sales accounting for a high 62%; new energy vehicle sales in March reached 13,056 vehicles, accounting for 51%.

The Zeekr brand delivered a cumulative total of 77,037 vehicles in the first quarter, an 86% year-on-year increase; monthly deliveries in March stood at 29,318 vehicles, a 90% year-on-year increase and a 23% month-on-month increase, achieving both year-on-year and month-on-month growth and becoming the fastest-growing brand within the group. In terms of products, the Zeekr 8X is set to be officially launched in mid-April, and deliveries of the Zeekr 9X have accelerated, with over 10,000 units delivered in March. Meanwhile, the Zeekr brand completed its first batch of customer deliveries in Germany and commenced sales in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, accelerating its global expansion.

Geely's cumulative overseas export sales in the first quarter reached 203,024 vehicles, a 126% year-on-year increase, achieving doubled growth; monthly exports in March stood at 81,639 vehicles, a 120% year-on-year increase and a 34% month-on-month increase, showing strong year-on-year and month-on-month growth momentum.

In the European market: The Geely E5 (Geely Galaxy E5) and the Starray EM-i (Geely Galaxy Battleship 7 EM-i) have successively entered six European countries, including Hungary, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. In the South American market: The Geely EX2 (Geely Xingyuan) was officially launched in Chile. In the North American market: The Lynk & Co 01 and the Lynk & Co 02 (Lynk & Co Z20) were officially launched in Mexico.
