Denza's upcoming new sedan has appeared on the latest MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) catalog, showcasing a bold new design language and advanced tech features. The vehicle may be named the Denza Z9S.
Exterior Design: The car adopts a futuristic aesthetic with vibrant paint options. It features slender, split-type LED headlights that align with the Z9 family design, while the main headlamps are integrated into the front bumper. A full-width panel and two-tier front lip add to its aggressive look. A roof-mounted LiDAR and side fender cameras highlight its high-level autonomous driving readiness.
Side Profile: The design includes flush door handles, two optional side mirror styles, and wheel choices of 20-inch or 21-inch alloys.
Rear Design: The rear features roof-mounted rear-facing sensors, layered taillights with high visibility, a recessed license plate area, and a sculpted, tiered rear bumper for strong three-dimensional presence.
Dimensions: The sedan measures 5,090 mm (length) × 1,980 mm (width) × 1,490 mm (height), with a 3,025 mm wheelbase. Compared to the current Denza Z9, it’s shorter (-145 mm), narrower (-10 mm), lower (-28 mm), and has a shorter wheelbase (-100 mm).
Features: Equipped with a panoramic fixed glass roof, electric rear spoiler, and multiple styling options for mirrors and door handles.
Powertrain: Two versions are listed:
Rear single-motor: 370 kW (≈503 hp)
Front-one + rear-two tri-motor: Combined output of 890 kW (≈1,209 hp)
Both variants are expected to feature the second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology.
