Recently, Tesla said on overseas social media that it will hold a conference in Austin, the United States, on September 3, 2026, with the protagonist of the self-driving taxi Cybercab. At the “We, robot” event in October 2024, Tesla debuted the Cybercab, a car built for fully driverless scenarios. Tesla has been testing Cybercab on public roads for the past few months, and in July, Tesla arranged for employees to experience the car on an internal road near its Austin headquarters. It is also revealed that Tesla has recently completed a special training for emergency responders throughout Austin, focusing on Cybercab-related accident handling and emergency rescue procedures. According to foreign media reports, Tesla will announce Cybercab's official access to its Robotaxi self-driving ride-hailing service at this conference. Currently, the Robotaxi fleet is mainly operated using Model Y models.
