SAIC Group sold a total of 2.384 million vehicles in January-July/339,000 vehicles in July.
Recently, SAIC Group announced the latest sales data. In July, SAIC Group sold 339,000 complete vehicles, and from January to July, it sold a total of 2.384 million vehicles. Among them, from January to July, SAIC passenger cars increased by 53.4% year-on-year, and Zhizhi cars increased by 82.4%; new energy sold 973,000 vehicles from January to July, an increase of 27.4% year-on-year; and overseas sales of 876,000 vehicles from January to July, an increase of 52.1% year-on-year. In July, SAIC's own brands sold 257,000 vehicles, an increase of 19.9% year-on-year, achieving a year-on-year increase of 1.725 million vehicles, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year, accounting for 72.4% of the group's total sales, which has become the core driving force of the group's overall sales. Specifically: SAIC Passenger Cars sold 107,000 units in July, up 78.2% year-on-year, and cumulative sales of 656,000 units in January-July, up 53.4% year-on-year; SAIC Chase sold 23,000 units in July, up 29.8% year-on-year, and cumulative sales of 161,000 units in January-July, up 29.2% year-on-year. SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 108,000 units in July and a total of 789,000 units in January-July, with monthly sales of "100,000 +" and a solid market position. The double-line speed of new energy vehicles has accelerated, and the growth rate has far exceeded the industry average. In July, SAIC independently and joint venture brands made concerted efforts to sell a total of 177,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 50.7% year-on-year; from January to July, 973,000 vehicles were sold, an increase of 27.4% year-on-year, far exceeding the industry average growth rate, showing SAIC's overall strength on the new circuit of Zhidian. In terms of self-owned brands: Zhiji Cars sold 46,000 vehicles in January-July, up 82.4% year-on-year; SAIC Passenger Cars sold 296,000 new energy vehicles in January-July, up 227.8% year-on-year, and the MG4 family of two vehicles went hand-in-hand, delivering more than 17,000 vehicles in a single month; on July 29, MG 07 opened pre-sale, with 20-hour pre-sale orders exceeding 21,000 vehicles, and 59 city pop-up stores nationwide are opening one after another; Shangjie Z7/Z7T has delivered more than 20,000 vehicles in total since mass delivery began at the end of May; SAIC Datong New Energy Vehicles sold 56,000 vehicles in January-July, up 77.5% year-on-year; SAIC GM Wuling New Energy Vehicles sold 417,000 vehicles in January-July, with Huajing S delivering more than 7,200 vehicles in July. In terms of joint venture brands: 62,000 SAIC-GM NEVs were sold in January-July, up 75.2% year-on-year; 36,000 SAIC-Volkswagen NEVs were sold, and more than 7,000 Audi E7Xs were delivered in two months, ID. Since its launch, the era 9X has quickly entered the first echelon of extended-range large SUV sales. Overseas market technology breakdown, sales increased vigorously. In July, SAIC overseas market sales of 142,000 vehicles, up 72.5% year-on-year; January-July cumulative sales of 876,000 vehicles, up 52.1% year-on-year. The MG brand sold a total of 218,000 units in Europe from January to July, an increase of 22.8% year-on-year, winning the "China Brand European Sales Champion". In June, SAIC MG sold nearly 27,000 HEV hybrid models in overseas markets, doubling year-on-year. At the MG UK Technology Conference held in July, the MG brand focused on the industry-leading MG Plug-in Hybrid + hybrid system, SolidCore semi-solid state battery technology, and MG Parking smart cockpit and assisted driving system, further establishing the three core technology labels of "Hybrid + hybrid", "SolidCore solid/semi-solid state battery" and "i-Smart intelligent driving system" for the global market.
