On June 24, Xpeng Motor announced that its third localized production base in the world, the EPMB plant in Malacca, Malaysia, was officially put into production, and the production capacity climbing had begun. The first batch of production models was G6, which was produced in the form of CKD bulk assembly. There are currently three Xpeng global localized production bases, including the Indonesian base, which was officially put into production in July 2025 (located in West Java), the Austrian base, which will be put into production in the third quarter of 2025 (located in the Magna plant in Graz), and the Malaysian base, which will be put into production today. The Indonesian base currently produces X9 models and the Austrian base currently produces G6 and G9 models.
