Recently, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Recall Lot: Recall Number S2026M0058V: Starting May 25, 2026, recall some 2025-2026 N7 vehicles produced between March 28, 2025 and March 11, 2026, for a total of 49,465 vehicles; some 2025-2026 N6 vehicles produced between October 21, 2025 and March 18, 2026, for a total of 18,800 vehicles. Reason for recall: For vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to design reasons, the internal friction blocks of the accelerator pedal assembly wear after long-term pedaling, and the rotating parts of the pedal interfere with the protruding lugs, resulting in poor return of the accelerator pedal and potential safety hazards. Solution: Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the improved accelerator pedal assembly for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge. N6 cars also need to replace the brake pedals with adapted shapes at the same time to eliminate safety hazards. Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant owners by registered mail, telephone, SMS, etc. through Dongfeng Nissan franchise stores, and arrange for free maintenance.
