Recently, a spy shot of the production version of the Bentley Bentayga X has been leaked by a foreign media outlet. The new model has significantly altered the design of the Bentayga, which is typically geared towards road and sports performance, by raising the chassis and enhancing its off-road equipment, thereby significantly improving the SUV's off-road capability. The Bentayga X will be powered by a 4.0T V8 gasoline engine, equipped with air suspension and a 48V mild-hybrid system. Bentayga X's exterior design is largely consistent with the current model, featuring the iconic quad headlamps design, elegant body lines, and a luxurious aesthetic. The forward-facing camera module at the rearview mirror position is larger than that of the current Bentayga, which suggests that the new model may be equipped with a dual-camera system, indicating that it could feature a more advanced driving assistance system. Looking at the side of the vehicle, the edge of the side windows, the trim lines, and the fender trim all feature a black finish, contrasting with the current Bentayga's chrome design. This design is more in line with an off-road style. The spy shot also shows that the Bentayga X's wheels are equipped with a similar design to those used in rally cars, both featuring a black finish, and are paired with specialized off-road tires. The raised body of the Bentayga X further enhances its off-road capability. The spy shot also reveals that the air suspension on the Bentayga X is equipped, allowing for adjustable body height. The tag on the air suspension indicates it is "designed for off-road use," suggesting that the spy shot vehicle is undergoing off-road-related research and development testing. The rear design of the Bentayga X is consistent with the current model, featuring the iconic elliptical tail lamps, with the Bentley logo also in a black finish. Upon closer inspection, the rear spoiler of the Bentayga X is designed with a hollowed-out appearance, differing from the current Bentayga. In terms of power, the Bentayga X's power parameters can be referenced from the previously released Bentayga X concept car, featuring a 4.0T twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a maximum power output of 650 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Newton-meters. The transmission will be an 8-speed automatic and the drivetrain will be equipped with all-wheel drive. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 310 km/h.
