Recently, the Mitsubishi Ralliart Pajero rally concept car was officially unveiled. The new car is equipped with Ralliart's exclusive coating and exclusive modifications, replicating the classic heritage of the brand Dakar Rally. However, the official later made it clear that this high-performance style concept car has no plans for mass production. The new Pajero made its world debut on September 2. The Pajero Rally concept car unveiled this time has the core significance of inheriting the legendary racing heritage of Pajero winning the Dakar Rally championship 12 times, not the preview version of the new high-performance production model. Keisuke Kishiura, President of Mitsubishi, also emphasized that Ralliart's event heritage and brand history are crucial core assets in Mitsubishi's off-road system. Even if there is no mass production of high-performance models, the brand will continue this classic IP gene. This concept car does not have an exclusive upgrade to the chassis and power core hardware, it is based on the mass production version of Pajero, and all modified parts are directly attachable accessories. Specifically, it includes a full off-road kit such as a front and rear widened eyebrows, an exclusive custom C-pillar decorative cover, a red off-road guard, and a high-position wading hose. The above modified accessories are compatible with the regular version of the new Pajero, which is a non-destructive add-on kit. Mitsubishi is currently evaluating the feasibility of officially selling these exclusive accessories through official channels. In the future, consumers are expected to directly purchase the original Ralliart-style modified parts and create their own exclusive off-road styling. The Ralliart series currently exists only as an exterior style kit.
