Chery: There are no arrangements for direct investment or technology transfer in the Indian market

On June 8, Chery issued a clarification statement on its cooperation with India's Tata Group. In the statement, Chery responded to recent matters related to its cooperation with India's Tata Group. The original statement is as follows: Chery said that the cooperation agreement currently negotiated with Tata Group in India is limited to the supply of parts and components related to the model, that is, Chery will provide auto parts for Tata Group, and there is no direct investment and technology transfer arrangement in the Indian market. Regarding the issues of "platform authorization" and "technical cooperation" that are concerned by the outside world, Chery clearly stated in the statement that the expressions such as "platform transfer", "platform authorization", "technology authorization", "technology export" and "technology output" mentioned in some media and accounts before are inconsistent with the facts.
