407 hp pure tram! Pininfarina Design! Mitsubishi ASX VR-e Official Photo Exposure.
Recently, Mitsubishi Motors released the official map of ASX VR-e, and the new car is positioned as a pure electric compact SUV, which is expected to land in the New Zealand market in the fourth quarter of 2026. This new car is the result of a collaboration between Mitsubishi and Foxconn's Foxtron, and the Mitsubishi ASX VR-e can simply be seen as a rebranded version of the Foxtron Bria. The two cars are different in terms of the front face brand text logo, car logo, etc., and the other aspects are basically the same. The front face of the new Mitsubishi ASX VR-e Foxtron Bria features a penetrating headlight assembly with daylight guides running horizontally through the front. The skeleton design on the back of the headlamp assembly is rare and adds a sense of design uniqueness. The Mitsubishi ASX VR-e has a length, width and height of 4315x1885x1535mm and a wheelbase of 2800mm, which is a compact SUV in terms of size. The new car is designed with a hidden door handle and the rim is low wind resistance style, which is different from the rim style of the Foxtron Bria. The Mitsubishi ASX VR-e cockpit is equipped with a 9.2-inch full LCD dashboard and a large 15.6-inch center control touch screen, and the overall shape and layout of the center console is consistent with the Foxtron Bria, with only a few changes in the interior material details. The trunk volume of the new car is 320 liters, which can be expanded to 1043 liters when the rear seats are down. In terms of power, the rear-drive model has a maximum motor power of 232 horsepower, a peak torque of 350 Nm, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.8 seconds, and a 57.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack that can provide a NEDC range of 516km. The dual-motor, four-wheel-drive version has a combined maximum power of 407 horsepower, a peak torque of 700 Nm, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds, and a battery pack of the same capacity as the rear-drive version can provide a NEDC range of 466km. Both models support 134kW DC fast charging, with 10-80% charging time less than 30 minutes. (Photo/text/car house Changqinglin).
