Powered by a 1600 hp 5.0L V8 engine! Koenigsegg CCGT1 official map released.
Recently, Koenigsegg released the official map of CCGT1. The new car is based on the platform of the Koenigsegg CC850 model and pays tribute to the CCGT GT1 group race car launched by Koenigsegg at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. CCGT Racing achieved great competitiveness during the testing phase, and later failed to set foot on the field due to changes in the rules of the race. Koenigsegg aims to use modern technology to make the CCGT1 the world's first GT1-class supercar that can be legally on the road. The new car will be powered by a 5.0L V8 engine with a maximum power output of 1600 horsepower using E85 fuel. The exterior coverings of the Koenigsegg CCGT1 have a new design, with 3 lamp caps inside the headlamp cavity, which looks very sharp with the daylight design under the cap. There is a brake cooling vent below the headlights and a lightweight aerodynamic kit is installed in the front bumper position. The new car is designed with scissor doors, the cockpit is a single-row two-seater layout, and the sitting position is extremely low. The new car has a length, width and height of 4478x2058x1160mm and a wheelbase of 2700mm. The clearance from the ground of the standard body is 100mm, and it can be raised by 50mm through the adjustable body control system to take into account the passability of daily driving. The new car has a fuel tank capacity of 72L. The new cockpit is made of carbon fiber and is a single shell cockpit with a torsional stiffness of 65000N · m/deg to achieve the ultimate body response performance. The CCGT1 front/rear suspension uses a bifurcated arm independent suspension with an integrated adjustable hydraulic shock absorber to dynamically adjust the body height. In terms of braking system, CCGT1 is equipped with a front 408mm diameter/rear 390mm diameter ceramic ventilated brake disc, with 6-piston front caliper and 4-piston rear caliper for strong braking performance. The wheels are centrally locked and made of lightweight alloy, the front wheels are 20 inches and the rear wheels are 21 inches, standard on Pirelli P Zero R tyres and optionally P Zero Trofeo RS semi-hot molten tyres. With an active tail, the Koenigsegg CCGT1 has three modes: low wind resistance, air braking, and high downforce. It can generate a maximum downforce of 800kg at a speed of 250km/h, which greatly improves the handling performance of the vehicle. In addition, the new car is equipped with a complete aerodynamic kit such as a roof air inlet, wheel arch diffuser, head air dam, front/rear brake cooling duct, side skirt winglet, etc. to achieve aerodynamic balance optimization. In terms of safety, CCGT1's carbon fiber cockpit integrates a crushing energy-absorbing area, equipped with 4 airbags, a digital early warning information system, a tire pressure monitoring system, optional track-level racing seats, a fire suppression system, and a six-point seat belt, which can meet the demand for vehicle safety in intense driving on the track. The new car standard is equipped with the KES electronic body stabilization control system, which offers four driving modes: comfortable, wet skiing/snow, sports, and track. In terms of cockpit interiors, the CCGT1 is made of leather or Alcantara interior materials with high contrast color stitching, balancing sport and luxury. The new car has 360-degree panoramic images, front and rear parking radar, short-range collision warning and other functions, taking into account the practicality of daily use. In addition, the new car's multimedia system supports Apple CarPlay, has a USB interface, and supports wireless charging of the phone. In terms of powertrain, CCGT1 is equipped with Koenigsegg's self-developed 5.0L V8 aluminum twin-turbo engine, which adopts flat crankshaft, dual overhead camshaft, dry oil pan lubrication and other designs. The engine has a 9.0: 1 compression ratio, a cylinder diameter of 92mm, a stroke of 95.25 mm, an independent cylinder pressure sensor and a ceramic ball bearing turbocharger. The engine delivers a maximum output of 1,280 horsepower with conventional gasoline; a maximum output of 1,600 horsepower with E85 fuel and a peak torque of 1,500 N · m. The engine is paired with a 9-speed LST gearbox, which integrates KSS serial gearshift mechanisms and Ked electronic differentials. The gearshift paddles are standard in the whole system.
