Recently, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle announced that the Dongfeng Fengshen L8+ will officially go on sale on October 23. The vehicle is positioned as a compact SUV and will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system. The official statement indicates that the vehicle will focus on high-end advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and further enhance the hardware for ADAS. In terms of its exterior design, the L8+ largely carries over the styling of the current Fengshen L8, and is offered in a "Star Rose Pink" paint finish. The front end gets a full-width light bar with an illuminated brand logo beneath it, while the headlight clusters and the air intake grille on both sides form a "big mouth" shape. The vehicle will also be equipped with LiDAR. The front fenders on both sides carry perception cameras, and conventional mechanical door handles are fitted. The dimensions of the vehicle are as follows: the length is 4762mm, the width is 1910mm, the height is 1686mm, and the wheelbase is 2825mm. In the interior, the Fengshen L8+ adopts a dual-tone soft leather interior with ambient lighting, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The vehicle is equipped with a floating central touchscreen, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a wireless charging panel for phones. It also features panoramic sunroof and sunshades, with a rear seating layout of three seats and a central armrest. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a 19-speaker WANOS panoramic sound system and an aviation-style tray table. In terms of ADAS, the L8+ will be the first to adopt Dongfeng Group's latest driving solution - the Tianyuan ADAS T800, which integrates the Momenta R7 world model and is equipped with a 4nm NVIDIA Thor-U ADAS chip delivering 700 TOPS of computing power. In terms of power, the Dongfeng Fengshen L8+ is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and a motor. The maximum power of the 1.5T engine is 113kW, with a peak torque of 240N·m. The maximum power of the front-mounted single motor is 100kW, with a peak torque of 260N·m.
