Recently, the official map of Porsche Flachbau RS was officially released. The car was built by the Sonderwunsch (special customization) department based on a 2018 911 GT2 RS (model 991.2) with Weissach components. The biggest feature of the car is the reinterpretation of the classic flat head shape (Flachbau), a tribute to the legendary Le Mans car 935/78 nicknamed "Moby Dick". To fit the new flat head shape, the round headlights have been redesigned and subtly integrated into the U-shaped decorative stripes, echoing the 935/78 racing design with Martini livery. The vehicle will be painted in custom Grand Prix white paint (a classic Porsche body colour introduced with the 911 in 1974) and embellished with matte black and bare carbon fibres. The front fender is more low-lying and still has ventilation to comb the airflow. The rear of the vehicle will be equipped with a newly designed S-shaped bracket spoiler, inspired by the 911 GT3 R rennsport, which supports 3 gears of manual adjustment and provides varying degrees of downforce, which provides a maximum downforce of 554 kg at 340 km/h. In addition, the rear wheels of the vehicle are equipped with an aerodynamic wheel baffle and are also painted with Grand Prix white to enhance visual impact. The red Alcantara, black leather and bare carbon are still in the front row of the car. The rear area of the seat was completely emptied, in addition to the removal of the Porsche Communication Management System (PCM), the sound system and the soundproofing material, making it a typical racing interior style and 31.6 kilograms lighter in terms of weight than before the modification. In addition, "Flachbau RS" is embroidered on the headrest of the seat, and the front passenger is equipped with an exclusive golden logo. (Written by Guo Chen, Automobile House).
