Recently, NiO officially issued a document saying that on October 1, 2026, the total daily amount of NiO's power exchange reached 183,469, a record high. On average, in 0.47 seconds, a NiO, Ledao, and firefly completed the power exchange. As of October 5, NiO had built 9,529 charging stations nationwide, including 4,163 substations, 5,366 charging stations, and 30,922 charging piles, providing more than 120 million power changes. It is worth mentioning that on September 28, NiO and Geely Holding Group reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation in the field of charging and replacement. The two sides reached a consensus on cooperation in all aspects of technology, operation and capital, and will jointly invest in the charging and switching business entities of both parties, share charging and switching technologies and standards, and jointly build a charging and switching service network. According to the agreement reached between the two parties, Geely Holding Group will use its 100% stake in Easy Interconnection and cash of 640 million yuan to invest in NiO Energy. After the completion of the transaction, Geely Holding Group will hold a 30% stake in NiO Energy. The power exchange business of Easy Interconnection operating vehicles will be merged into NiO Energy. Both parties will jointly build a unified C-terminal power exchange technology and standards. Geely Holding Group will develop a C-terminal power exchange model. NiO Energy will provide services for Geely Holding Group's C-terminal power exchange model. This cooperation will also further accelerate the construction of NiO's power exchange network. NiO Energy plans to build a total of 10,000 power exchange stations by 2030. It is expected that the annual power demand of the NiO power exchange network will exceed 10 billion kWh. The commercial value and social value of the power exchange station as a new energy infrastructure will become increasingly apparent. In the field of smart charging, NiO will invest in the vast energy of Geely Holding Group. After the completion of the transaction, NiO will hold a 10% stake in the vast energy. The charging resources of both parties will be fully interconnected to jointly improve the coverage capacity and operational efficiency of the charging network. By the end of 2027, Geely plans to build more than 22,000 charging stations and more than 100,000 charging guns, including more than 15,000 Geely smart charging stations and more than 50,000 smart charging guns, taking the lead in achieving comprehensive coverage of county-level cities across the country.
